Aventura

Aventura is South Florida's most concentrated Jewish neighborhood — Orthodox, Sephardic, and Israeli communities, a full-service kosher supermarket, mikvah, and high-rise living within walking distance of multiple shuls.

Kosher markets

  • Kosher Kingdom · Full-service kosher supermarket — glatt deli, bakery, butcher, wine

Mikvahs

  • Mikvah Am Kadosh · At Aventura Chabad

Aventura is arguably the most walkable Jewish community in South Florida outside of Boca. Young Israel of Aventura and Chabad at the Waterways serve the Waterways Shoppes corridor, while Aventura Chabad anchors the NE 210th Street area with a mikvah on campus. The Edmond J. Safra Synagogue and Netive Ezra serve a large Sephardic and Israeli population.

Kosher Kingdom (Aventura Blvd) is a full-service supermarket. Williams Island is one of the most well-known Jewish residential communities in the area. Living costs are high — this is luxury South Florida — but for observant families who want to walk to shul and access top-tier Jewish community infrastructure without a car, Aventura is hard to beat.
