Beth Tfiloh — claiming to be the largest Modern Orthodox congregation in the US — anchors the Old Court Road end; Agudath Israel of Baltimore (home of the Star-K’s Rabbi Moshe Heinemann) anchors the yeshivish world; and Ner Israel Rabbinical College, one of America’s most prestigious yeshivos, sits on a wooded campus at Mt. Wilson Lane. The community has been stable and self-sufficient for generations.

Seven Mile Market on Reisterstown Road is a destination kosher supermarket — not just for Baltimore but for families driving in from DC and beyond. Tov Pizza (open since 1984) and Goldberg’s NY Bagels are community institutions. The Talmudical Academy (founded 1917) and Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School provide K–12 Orthodox day school options within the eruv.
