Metropolitan Atlanta's Orthodox community has grown quickly through Sunbelt relocation, and it has two centers. Toco Hills, intown along LaVista Road, is the heart of it: five shuls, the well-known Kosher Kroger, Torah Day School and a mikvah, in an affordable neighborhood.
Sandy Springs, just north of the city, is newer, smaller and more upscale, around The Kehillah and Chabad of Georgia, with easy reach to Toco Hills.
