What it covers
In outline โ the exact street-by-street boundary is published on hperuv.org โ the eruv runs from River Road and Raritan Avenue north along River Road to the NJ Transit line, along the tracks to the Edison station, then by way of Central, Plainfield and Woodbridge Avenues around to Donaldson Park, and back along the Raritan River shoreline. Most of Donaldson Park is inside it.
It connects to the separate New Brunswick eruv on the other side of the river, so you can carry between them.
Outside the eruv
- The Edison train station parking lot
- The Meadows Wildlife Area
- New Brunswick eruv: the path along the river shoreline (the walking path by Route 18 is inside)
- New Brunswick eruv: the street and sidewalks between Joyce Kilmer and Livingston Avenues, where the eruv follows the houseline
