What it covers

Its map shows the Lower Merion boundary, the Main Line Eruv, the Shabbat routes to Lankenau Hospital and Hill Gate, and markers at each crossing and boundary change. Check your own street on it.

You may carry between the Lower Merion and Main Line eruvin only when both are up, only if you accept both eruvin's rulings, and only at the designated crossings: the tunnel under the rail line at Merion Station, the Bowman Avenue Bridge, the Narberth Bridge (South Narberth Avenue), the tunnel under Narberth Station, and under the North Wynnewood Bridge.

Outside the eruv

Named by the eruv as outside it. Not a complete list — check the official map.

Since a February 2026 remap, you can no longer carry all the way to City Avenue on Bala Avenue, Bryn Mawr Avenue or Conshohocken State Road; this also affects the area near Bala Park.
Many sidewalks on City Avenue are outside both the Lower Merion and Main Line eruvin.
