What it covers
The committee publishes a map of the eruv on Young Israel of West Hartford's website, with printable PNG and PDF versions and a KML file. Check your own street on it, and read the boundary notes for streets along the edge.
Outside the eruv
- The west side of North Main Street, from just before Sheep Hill Road northward — you cannot walk from North Main Street to Sheep Hill Road inside the eruv.
- The corner and intersection of Albany Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue.
- Bloomfield Avenue along the northeast boundary is not consistently covered — to reach the Hebrew Center, JCC or Federation campus, approach from the south and walk via Simsbury Road.

Good to know
- The west side of Steele Road near Elizabeth Park is in the eruv except at the Asylum Avenue intersection, where you stay inside by walking around to the west of the telephone pole on the northwest corner.
