Sephardic shuls in Arizona

ShulMap maps 3 Sephardic shuls in Arizona, in Phoenix (2) and Scottsdale (1). That is what we have mapped, not a census — smaller minyanim and shtieblach are often missing, so ask locally too.

A Sephardic shul follows the nusach and customs of Jews whose families came from Spain, North Africa and the Middle East — Moroccan, Syrian, Persian, Iraqi, Bukharian and others — so its tefillah, tunes and minhagim differ from an Ashkenazi shul's. Many have their own community traditions, and most welcome Ashkenazi guests.

Open any shul on the map to see a half-mile and one-mile ring around it, or type an address into the map to see the nearest shuls and roughly how long the walk is. Each community page also links to apartment and home searches near its shuls.
