Commuting and practicalities
Downtown Toronto is roughly 25–40 minutes by car, or transit via Viva/YRT buses on Bathurst connecting to the TTC subway at Finch. For US families relocating: note pricing is CAD, health coverage has a provincial waiting period, and rental applications typically want Canadian credit history or extra documentation — factor that into your timeline.
